I'm a little unclear on the Pitchfork review that distances this music a bit from dubstep, because that is so clearly what it is. Micro-analyzing archivists of this blog know I'm a huge electronica fan but that dubstep is one of my least favorite forms, requiring a particular mood. There's no accounting for that any more than for any other subjectivity. But this is high quality dubstep, so if that's your bag, dig in.
